Reactors

01
Pre-assembled units, with stainless-steel frame (optionally with staircase and handrail, platform/stand space with railing – depending on volume).
02
Stirred (different types of impellers) and aerated vessels.
03
Up to 12 Bar.
04
Completely customisable, basing on the clients’ specific needs.
05
Control system based on Siemens PLC and SCADA software.
06
Industrial touch screen PC: manage /control all variables.

Process Tanks

01
Several types of tanks for process plants: media preparation tanks, feeding tanks, killing tanks, storage tanks, harvest tanks, etc.
02
Pre-assembled units, with stainless-steel frame (optionally with staircase and handrail, platform/stand space with railing – depending on volume).
03
For smaller volumes, tanks can be integrated into the fermenter/bioreactor skid.
04
Optionally stirred and aerated.
05
SIP/non-SIP configuration.
06
Magnetic or mechanical agitation.
07
Autonomous control system or dependent from the fermenter/bioreactor’s one.

CIP and SIP Systems

01
Single or multi-tank configuration.
02
Stainless steel tanks for holding water of different quality: deionized water, hot or cold water for injection (WFI) and from reverse osmosis units.
03
Multi-tank configuration with sequence washing cyclic operations: Wash down rinse, Acid wash, Alkaline wash, Wash down, Final wash.
04
Heat Exchangers: Atmospheric | Under Pressure | Under Vacuum.
05
Several mixing system solutions.
06
Tailor made systems for different products and applications.
07
Automatic or manual control.
08
Washing processes controlled via operation panel, consisting of a touch screen HMI to configure washing processes: number of tasks / repetitions of tasks, amount of litres (water, WFI), dosage of detergents, temperature of CIP fluid, washing pressure, purge (drainage of process equipment and CIP unit with compressed air) and more.
09
PED, ATEX, CNR, SVTI certifiable.

Frequenty Asked Questions

Bioprocessing can be divided into two main stages: upstream stage and downstream stage. The upstream stage begins with the preparation of the culture media and preinoculum, going to the end of the fermentation, once the desidered product or cell biomass is obtained. The downstream stage leads to the obtaining of the final product, through many steps which could involve filtration, centrifugation, cell disruption, distillation etc.
